Website and Information Accessibility

OUR COMMITMENT TO WEBSITE AND INFORMATION ACCESSIBILITY

Genoa-Hugo School District is committed to providing equitable access to our services which includes providing accessible digital content for all members of our community. We desire to meet the requirements of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 which is a crucial piece of legislation prohibiting discrimination on the basis of disability in programs and activities that receive federal financial assistance.

Accessibility Practices

Good faith efforts are being made to ensure that our website complies with web accessibility standards as outlined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA criteria. These guidelines not only help make technology accessible to users with sensory, cognitive, and mobility disabilities, but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability.
