VISION:  The Genoa Hugo Counseling Department is dedicated to empowering every student to achieve academic success, personal and social growth, and career readiness.

MISSION: The Comprehensive School Counseling Program at Genoa Hugo strives to positively impact the lives of our students by partnering with parents, community, faculty and staff. The counselors offer an innovative, comprehensive  program addressing student academic and career goals as well as personal and social needs. We provide students with the opportunities to acquire the educational and social competencies necessary for their growth toward lifelong success and as an effective, responsible member of society in a diverse and changing world.   

I will also help students with scholarship searches and completing the application. I will take students to colleges for visits and set up tours for students and parents to colleges to help them explore all the opportunities available to them.
